Originally designed in 1888 by a local wealthy trader named Ioannidis, after he returned from Egypt, Stathopoulou Mansion is named one of the top 25 villa-hideaways of the world that have all the comforts of a hotel according to Conde Nast Traveller Magazine.
The mansion was completely restored, by the engineer Kostas Stathopoulos and it was covverted from to a unique luxury boutique hotel.
The finely located property features a pool, filled with spring water with amazing views both to Saint George village and to the sea of Pagasitikos gulf. According to a legend deep down in the garden well there is a hidden treasure which many have tried to located for ages with no success.
The mansion has been renovated to high specifications and offers comfort, space and location to those wanting a more luxurious option than the typical traditional-style vacations.
Designed and restored to perfection, combining traditional architecture with modern facilities, the 3-floor mansion features all the comfort you need such as cable tv, free wifi, comfortable queen size beds, branded natural products of personal care, modern bathrooms and much more.
Lower lever: this place has an inside cozy lounge with fireplace where traditional breakfast is made from local produce. This area was originally the treasury room where Ioannidis kept all valuables and expensive clothes. The ceiling drawings were inspired by the greek mythology.
Mid level(main entrance of the mansion): This floor has 4 bedrooms. Two with two semi double beds and fireplace, one with queen size bed and one with one queen size and one single bed.All bedrooms features en suit queen size bathrooms.
Upper level: Hermes lounge is located in the upper level and whether you stay or not in our mansion it’s worth discovering it.
Sinking low into a comfortable sofa take a look in the opulent, all-encompassing scene of the ceiling. The Hermes Lounge got its name from the illustration on the ceiling mural of Hermes, God of trade, whereas looking carefully at his feet you may see the goods Ioannidis used to trade. On his left and right there are Zeus and Athena. Displayed in the corners and perimeter garlands of the mural there are various monuments of cities Ioannidis had developed commerce.
There are two more bedrooms at this level. Both of them have a queen size and a single bed and ensuite bathrooms.
