You'll love the country living feel of this early Victorian town house. It has a beautiful breakfast room which feels a part of the spacious flower-filled garden.
The room is large and light with beautiful views of the Blorenge and Sugar Loaf mountains. There is a good double bed with bedside tables, table, comfortable chairs, a TV, wi-fi , kettle and breakfast making facilities (when I am unavailable to make breakfast). The pretty bathroom for your sole use is on the same floor. If there are more than 2 in the same party there is another attic bedroom available.
Abergavenny is a characterful market town, cradled by mountains,it has two theatres, a cinema and a range of individual shops, pubs and places to eat.
It is on the edge of the Black Mountains, is close to the Brecon-Newport canal and is great for walking and cycling -recently gaining the accolade of a 'Walkers are Welcome' Town, and also holds the National Festival of Cycling in July.
Abergavenny hosts the highly regarded Food Festival which takes place in September each year. There are many well known gastro pubs in the area nearby- The Walnut Tree, The Hardwick and The Foxhunter for example.
Abergavenny is fortunate in having a railway station , bus services and with good road networks.
It has wonderful walks and cycle rides on its doorstep.
