This is a delightful, quiet and very well kitted out two bedroom apartment in a great area near the Marche d'Aligre. Both bedrooms were a good size as was the living room. The kitchen and breakfast bar would be a squeeze for three or four so if you are planning to eat in a lot, think about that. It's a great area, of course, with a good mix of locals and tourists and lots of good places to eat and drink. Everything in the apartment worked well and lots of personal touches - books, CDs and player etc. Very efficient greeting service - waiting for us. The apartment is in a smart and secure courtyard. Strongly recommended.

Spotless, character filled apartment with all the nice to have amenities (coffee machine, washing machine, drying rack). Quiet and peaceful, lovely place to come back to after a day battling the crowds. Highly recommended.

My son (31) and I (62) spend seven glorious nights in Patrick's quiet, clean, inviting apartment. Even though the apartment is on a relatively busy street, as soon as you enter the door, you're enveloped in quiet. We loved Patrick's decor, lots of books and interesting art work, fully equipped kitchen and fabulous water pressure in the bathroom. The neighborhood was very safe, even at night, and full of great shops and bistros. We were visiting a niece who is studying in Paris; she showed us how to use the metro to get to attractions further away, like Monmartre and the Rodin Museum, a gem. But we love to stroll and appreciated that we could easily walk to the Seine and Notre Dam and The Place des Vosges. Shopping in the Marais was great; my son and niece cruised through the vintage stores; I bought shoes and a designer coat at an outlet store, 50% off! There's a famous falafel restaurant (don't know the name) in the Marais that serves delicious food. All the restaurants in the area serve great food at reasonable prices. Most of the time we were the only Americans. The best meal we had was at fulgurances, which my niece took us too; classical French food with an Asian flare. Just be forewarned that if you like to sit outside and soak up the Parisian cafe scene, which we do, be prepared to deal with smokers; the young crowd sure love to smoke! We also went to Versailles; the train station is in walking distance as well. We wanted to go on Sunday, when the fountains are running, but it rained. We went to Versailles on a sunny day, had a picnic beside the Grand Canal, a relaxing way to spend an afternoon. Patrick's apartment is non-smoking, mold free (which is an issue for me), and provided two separate bedrooms with comfy beds. And we were greeted with a bottle of red wine: just add a baguette from the bakery down the street, some cheese and pate and you're ready to start your vacation.

It is hard to know where to begin my compliments- the location or the apartment. I was traveling with my Mother, who is 75, to Paris. Partick's apartment was perfect for us:, two ample sized bedrooms for privacy with queen sized beds for comfort, large light filled widows (with black out curtains) to take advantage of the light hours, a ceiling mounted shower, and a small elevator to arrive on the 3rd floor. The apartment is clean, andcharming inside and out

Patrick's apartment was in a great location but was very calm and quiet, a perfect escape from the hustle and bustle. Everything we needed was there and we were warmly welcomed and given lots of local tips and advice. The nearby shops and restaurants also made this a fantastic place to stay and I would highly recommend it.

Patrick's apartment was entirely charming and lovely place to stay! It is located in one of my favorite neighborhoods, near the wonderful Marché Aligre, and yet is incredibly quiet (it overlooks an interior courtyard rather than the street). It is within walking distance of several central metro and bus lines. The apartment itself is a delightful place to retreat to at the end of the day, with a well-equipped kitchen, a comfortable living room, and updated bathroom. Patrick and Raphaël were responsive, warm, and have already anticipated most questions that guests might have. Coup de coeur pour ce très joli appartement!
