We work from home and have flexible schedules. We can often accommodate special requests.
Olney is a quiet suburb of Washington DC but has its own amenities: The Olney Theater offers a range of professional productions, a weekly tour of the Underground Railroad is near by, and several restaurants are available. You will want to have a car, but the neighborhood has nearby parks and areas for walking. Lots of antiquing opportunities close by.
Un giro nei dintorni
You need a car to get here, however if you want to spend the day doing tourist things in Washington DC, the metro is about 20 minutes away and has plenty of parking.

I am a hospice nurse, data analyst, and real estate investor. Nancy, my partner in life and real estate, and I work from home, which gives us a lot of flexibility for various check-in times and special needs that our guests may have.
My mother owned and operated a B&B for many years, even before most people knew what a B&B was. I inherited her yen for different kinds of housing opportunities.
In 2003, Nancy and I opened Brindledorf, a cooperative living community, where the motto is "Live Outside the Box". Our residents have included teachers, police officers, scientists, clinicians, artists, political aides, grad students, and a film producer. Turnover has been very low.
In addition to managing Brindledorf, Nancy works in community theater as a set dresser, props manager and occasional actor. You never know what props in progress you may find in our living room.
Our first few months of Airbnb have been so positive, we have decided to move a little closer in, to a house that is a little larger. Beginning January 2016 we will be offering space that is a shorter walk to the metro, in a neighborhood that has larger yards. Two large suites on separate floors will have wood burning fireplaces, private bathrooms, and lots of natural light. Because we believe strongly that having on-site hosting is a key element in the B&B experience, we will convert the Bradford Rd residence to a traditional rental home.
