Cook in relaxing atmosphere top quality food with my style

We will cook home made traditional pasta in a healthy and low fat way. We will prepare food in a simple vegetarian and vegan ( upon request) dishes rich in flavour and tasty such as Gnocchi, Ravioli, Tagliatelle ( Noodles) and Lasagne. All the ingredients are Top quality organic and biodynamic. During the cooking class, we will prepare three courses using many seeds, herbs. In winter, I'll show you how to make a perfect Ribollita soup. Of course, once the dishes are ready, we will taste them. You will spend a beautiful morning in a non turistic place, cooking in a wonderful atmosphere with my personal Italian style in my beautiful house in Chianti.

My family once owned a Hotel and Restaurant.
I've been working for about 20 years in my family hotel, the art of receiving it's for me something inevitable. I love having guests coming from all over the world to know their cultures. Since I was a child, I've loved making pasta, i am really passionate about food and am a food blogger now. I've been giving cooking classes since 2011. I believe in sustainable eco-farming to ensure the food we grow is highly nutritional and i believe in the power of food as a source of well-being and regeneration.

I' m located on the doorstep of the Chianti region, surrounded by nature. I have a tipical tuscan kitchen furnished with antiques and design element very well mixed. Depending on the season, we will be able to sit outside in my beautiful garden to enjoy the meals we prepare. Or we can eat in front of my beautiful fireplace.

Expect a wonderful 4 hour experience with Stephania in her home. We made three different types of homemade pasta, sauces and used all fresh ingredients. She provided us with homemade cookies, coffee, & infused water when we arrived. The patio was lovely and the views are magnificent. Stephania was warm and welcoming, she has such a passion for cooking. I would highly recommend this experience. I would do it again when traveling to Florence.

Molto bene! What a wonderful start of our day. Stefania is a very down to earth, funny and warm person. The cooking class is truly a unique experience, where you learn to cook from scratch and use your hands and your passion instead of scales and measurements. Abolutely loved it, highly recommend! Can’t wait to make the recipes at home.

The cooking class with Stefania was informative and pleasurable. Within her small italian kitchen, we learnt how to create beautiful simple dishes using fresh vegetables and herbs from her garden and local produce to create pasta and gnocchi in a welcoming relaxed atmosphere. She has a clear passion for healthy clean eating which is extremely refreshing. We were then able to enjoy our meal together in the sunshine sharing a local bottle of red wine! We would highly recommend this experience.

Finalmente un approccio alla nostra cucina che prevede non solo la realizzazione di ricette da un punto di vista tecnico ma anche una condivisione di conoscenze sulle proprieta` nutrizionali delle materie prime usate. Una cucina orientata soprattutto al rispetto del territorio e della nostra salute; attenzione alla stagionalita`, le farine per la pasta , schiacciate e gnocchi sono tutte di grani antichi autoctoni, le verdure dell'orto, ed anche il vino e` naturale! Una cucina naturale, semplice e leggera insegnata e trasmessa con passione e competenza!

Ottima esperienza, divertente e interessante. Il posto e' stupendo e tutto e' stato organizzato perfettamente. Stefania, la cuoca, e' una persona speciale,molto gentile e competente ed e' riuscita a creare una bella atmosfera e a coinvolgere il gruppo con le sue ricette genuine e tradizionali. Un'attenzione particolare agli ingredienti che usa, dalle farine all'olio, di ottima qualita'. Ogni ricetta e` intervallata da un pranzo nel giardino bellissimo. Davvero da consigliare!

If you want to learn more about cooking healthy meals from scratch that are not difficult or complicated, this is a perfect opportunity. The setting and atmosphere are lovely, in the hills just outside of Florence, and Stefania is friendly and has a relaxed method of teaching in very good English. Her passion and attention are evident in the amount of information given about the quality of the products used, from the locally grown heritage grain flour and the potatoes from Stefania's family garden for the gnocchi to the produce and olive oil used for the sauce. The recipes are easy to take home with you which is not always true with cooking lessons.
