We pick you up at your Air BnB and whisk you just outside Portland to the Columbia River Gorge, the last leg of the Lewis and Clark expedition in 1806. First stop, Crown Point Vista House for the most expansive view of the Gorge East to West. Then down Historic HWY 30, developed in the early 1920's it is the original trail through that area . We will stop at Horse tail falls, LaTourell Falls and of course Multnomah falls (the 2nd tallest continually flowing waterfall in the USA). We will hike as little or as much as you would like, time permitting. Hiking can make you hungry so we will head to a little known Native American fish market for house smoked salmon, chowder and fish & chips. Next stop the Bonneville Dam built in the early 1930's as part of President Roosevelt's Get Americans To Work program building roads, dams and our basic infrastructure. Down below we can watch the salmon run through the fish ladders and learn how the nature conservancy is working to bring the native salmon population back to healthy and sustainable levels. Lastly we drive over to the fish hatchery, see salmon and rainbow trout in nursery ponds at different stages of growth before being released into the river. We will visit the Sturgeon ponds too for a glimpse of Herman the Sturgeon, he's about 85 years old, a local celebrity at nearly 10 ft long and weighing in at almost 500 lbs.

Wayne And Camille
Hello everyone, Wayne and Camille here, husband and wife tour machines and ambassadors to the Pacific Northwest. Wayne grew up here, a native with knowledge of all things local. Camille left the corporate world and moved here from California in 1996. We have traveled all over this region, sampled tasty libations and bites, explored ancient forests, rivers, lakes and have taken LOTS of pictures. In 2010 our passion and enthusiasm for this wondrous region drove us to build a very cool tour business. It allows us to share our personal experiences and discoveries with people visiting the area. our mission is to educate, entertain and make sure our guests have the best time possible, see things they wouldn't have found on their own and nurture a desire to explore. Come spend a day with us and see for yourself why we love it here so much.
