Cosa farete

Kerrin of MyKugelhopf, connoisseur of chocolate and confections, and her expert co-guide Sue Hofmann, equally passionate about chocolate, let their sweet tooth guide you around the charming old town of Zürich to uncover some of the city’s most irresistible sweets.

You'll learn about the city's almost 200 year old renowned chocolate empire, but especially visit the sweet spots that aren’t in the guidebooks – the ones that may pass under the radar, yet are not to be missed. A special treat will be waiting for you at each address, where you'll meet passionate shopkeepers and learn about house specialties. You’ll taste single origin chocolates, unique flavored truffles and bars, hot chocolate and cupcakes too. All the while, you'll learn about the history of and trends in chocolate in Switzerland. It's an exciting time in Zürich, with more talented craftsmen opening shop and creating their very own bean-to-bar chocolate !

All you need are comfortable shoes and a sweet tooth!

Dove ti troverai

Small, artisanal shops in Zürich's old town: A 4th generation chocolate and pastry shop, with recipes unchanged since 1905. A cream of the crop chocolate boutique - 100% Swiss, natural, handmade products, some of the best quality in the country. But hidden away in the cobblestone streets. A new chocolate shop, with a patented technology for chocolate-making, combining Mayan traditions and Swiss innovation. A cupcake shop, Swiss style. And more.

What a marvelous experience! We (group of 5) were taken to 5 Swiss chocolate localities, all unique, with very different stories and specialties, but all woven together by our wonderful tour guide Christina! With unbeatable charm and wit, she took us around Zürich, introducing us to the different manufacturers as well as what makes Swiss chocolate history so special. I can full heartedly recommend this great tour for anyone who loves chocolate and would like to learn more about Zürich and its chocolate making history! Thank you for a marvelous tour!!!

What a fantastic experience. Cristina is so knowledgeable, fun(ny), and welcoming. We learned so much, and she went above and beyond to make the experience special. Don’t be deterred by price - the amount of food we had the opportunity to taste, and the quality of the guidance, make the tour truly a great value. Thank you for such a wonderful experience!

This was a great tour! Marika, our guide, told us a lot about the history of Zürich as we were walking around, and she was also really warm and personable. It was like a tour of the city and chocolate tasting at various places combined!
