We will drive through the pines from I-17 to Schnebly Hill Vista and enjoy the grandeur of the red rock buttes. The road descends over 2,200 feet from the top of massive Mogollon Rim to the town of Sedona, elk may be seen before sunset. Around halfway down, we will park at the Hangover Trailhead (Difficult) or continue down to Sedona and explore Bell Rock (easy-moderate). Both hikes are super…

I know Sedona and Flagstaff well, if neither of these seem enticing, I can come up with all sorts of fun, guided adventures to swimming holes, mountains or canyons. I am trained in first aid and CPR.

Dove ti troverai

Hangover Trail is very special and sort of hard to navigate. There are not many signs because most of the hike is across huge slabs of red rock. Schnebly Hill can be treacherous, especially in bad weather. I do not suggest driving unless you are comfortable climbing over big boulders in your vehicle. They are both hard to access and not so easy to navigate. After the big hike, I will take you to one of my favorite restaurants in town.
