Hello, everyone, I have lived in several prefectures in Japan and lived in Tokyo more than 20 years. There are several artisans' factories and museums in my neighbor, downtown area of Tokyo. Japan's arts and crafts were developed and matured from 17th to late 19th century in Edo period. I like visiting at artisans' factory and small museums to see their works. I also like shrines and temples as it just refreshes me and historical building are more likely art. From my tour. guest can see crafts, unique items, and visit at small artisans' museums, shrines, and Japanese sweets' shops.

Dove ti troverai

Because of survived from world war II, streets are like labyrinth, narrowed and curved. In Edo period, people took boat to across the river so that near harbor, there were many sweets shops. That's the reason why there are many sweets' shops with long history here. Also it was town for artisans. There are artisans' factories, small museums, or shops. Some items are only available there. Cherry blossoms near Sumida river are famous.
