Cosa farete

In this one-day glassblowing workshop, you will be working with molten glass that is over 2100F degrees! But don't worry, we don't expect you to do anything out of your comfort zone, and you will be given one-on-one instruction by myself or one of our friendly glassblowing instructors. During the workshop, you will learn the basic glassblowing techniques necessary to make simple hand blown glass objects. You will first start by making a clear glass marble to learn how to work in the studio safely. This will be your perfect opportunity to grasp the concept of keeping the glass "on-center", and learning how to use gravity to elongate the glass. And then you will move on to making a paperweight and a small blown object of your choice. Please keep in mind that everything you make during the class will have to stay in our kiln overnight so you will get to pick up your glass another day or coordinate with us so we can ship your glass.
