Cosa farete

When you arrive at my shop, you'll choose a kimono to wear in Casual kimono. While you are starting to change your clothes, I'll prepare exclusive kimono underwear that you'll change into. While you're dressing up, I'll pick an obi-belt and accessories according to your selected kimono. Then I will give you a hair style. Please be assured that even if you lack knowledge about kimonos, I can give you advice in picking a kimono according to your schedule and the places you'll visit. In recent years, wearing a kimono has become free style, but originally, there were various rules to follow pertaining to the time of year, flower seasons, and materials. It is fun to know these and I'll be happy to arrange your kimono to the rules, if you're interested. My shop is a small, private space and you'll be able to relax while changing into your attire. Then, dressed in your kimono, please go sightseeing where you want to go. Simply tell me the estimated time you'll return to the shop. During the summer season, I will prepare a "yukata" . I was born and raised in Kyoto, and kimonos were always close to me. I became interested when I was a child and now I wear kimonos myself. I worked at a clothes shop after learning fashion color coordination at a vocational school. I met a customer there who was a kimono teacher, and I learned all about dressing in this traditional attire. After that, I opened a guest house in a machiya—traditional Kyoto townhouse—for Airbnb. I started my kimono business almost five years ago. I love kimonos so much and hope many people love them too.

Dove ti troverai

You'll come to my shop near Kujo Station, next to Kyoto Station. You can also walk from Kyoto Station. There are several small local shrines nearby, and as there are not many people there, it is easy to take pictures. Tofukuji Temple, famous for its autumn leaves, is just a 10-minute walk away. From Tofukuji to Fushimi Inari Shrine, it only takes two minutes on the JR train, so you can efficiently visit the famous sightseeing spots.

There are men's kimonos, but not many. Even though men don't use the hair styling, the price will still be the same. This plan only for one group. Please don't reserve if there is booking by others
