Meeting Point Ohiya Railway Station. In the early morning we start the Trek through the Thangamalay Trek via Eucalyptus forests and jungle, via tea estates and wonderful countrysides seeing Sri Lanka from its best side. This route is one of the hidden treks which usually stay undiscovered by the average tourist and includes a way through impressive tea estates and gorgeous hill country sides. The entire Trek will take approximately 4-5 hours but rewards the participants with unique impressions.

Our Guide Jim: Since i was 14 Years old i started to help my uncle guiding groups through the mountains near Haputale, Ohiya and Bandarawela. Experienced in trekking tours in this region over 20 years. Not to sound to convinced about my knowledge here, but i do know every animal, bird and plant that lives up here personally )
