WELCOME TO BOLOGNACOOKINGCLASS, THE COOKING CLASS N° 1 IN BOLOGNA AND IN THE TOP 10 IN ITALY (TRIPADVISOR)
We will make pasta from scratch and we will also discover the secrets of the Bolognese cuisine, through the most famous Italian sauce in the world: the BOLOGNESE MEAT SAUCE, made from scratch.
I will teach you how to cook this delicious sauce appreciated by everyone, from children to the elderly, and we will cook this sauce together with the most famous pasta in Bologna: the Tagliatelle.
You will learn how to prepare tagliatelle, using a rolling pin or pasta maker step by step directly in the comfort of your kitchen.
In recent years Bologna has become the capital of Italian food, and it will be my pleasure to take you into this journey through the Italian culinary history.
Once you book the experience you will receive a message or a email with the recepie and the list of tools you need.
The cooking experience will be happening on Zoom ,you will be receiving the link to connect once you complete the booking.

I am originally from the city of Padua, near Venice, and I worked for many years in hotels and restaurants all over the north of Italy and Europe. After a period of travels that brought me to India, Thailand, Morocco, Mexico, Brazil, Argentina, and Turkey, in 2014 I arrived in Bologna and I started to work in one of Bologna’s best cooking school.
In 2018 I created my own cooking school in Bologna, in order to develop what gives me the highest pleasure and satisfaction: teaching people how to cook good and healthy plates.
My teaching method is very playful and fun, people learn how to make their own dishes from scratch, through their own hands. I also teach cutting and cooking techniques, along with numerous little secrets and tips, about ingredients and tools. I take them on a cultural journey as well.

Terrific! I’ve done about a dozen different types of AirBnb experiences including cooking and Luigi’s was amazing. Easy to find ingredients, most you probably already have, simple instructions, not a lot of prep and when you’re finished you have Bolognese sauce AND homemade tagliatelle. Sounds like making your own pasta would be long and difficult...not at all. No pasta maker required either. Luigi’s methods was different from other cooking experiences in that he did not demonstrate making the dish as you followed along, rather he personally instructed you, watching your progression, telling you exactly what you need to do. More stirring, lower the heat, roll a bit more etc. Like he was standing in my kitchen. He asks that you use a phone so it’s easier for him to see what your doing. I had my son as my “camera man” with an iPad. Worked great. Luigi is very relaxed, interesting, warm and has a good sense of humor. We chatted a lot. The final product was DELICIOUS! Great for a couple or group as the food is ready immediately. Highly recommend

My fiancé and I had the best time with Luigi cooking Bolognese. We did a couples date with my best friend I haven’t seen in over a year and made the most delicious meal we’ve ever had. We would absolutely do it again and it was a fun stay at home date experience! Luigi was great about providing background on things and guiding us through step by step to ensure we did things perfectly.

We had a wonderful evening with Luigi. He was a great instructor, guiding us through every step of the way. He made sure to keep a close eye on our sauce and pasta to ensure we made them the right way to end the night with a delicious meal. And delicious it was! Highly recommend taking Luigi’s class.

I had a wonderful time cooking with Luigi. One of the things I loved about his class was that he let me join on two devices (mobile and laptop) so I could use the phone to get close to what I was cooking and better show him how the sauce was progressing or the thickness of the pasta. He even taught me how to use my new kitchen-aid pasta rolling attachment.
He was a wonderful instructor, and the food we made was absolutely delicious!
