Speakeasy sip (drinks not included in cost, so bring money to pay for your own drinks and snacks), swing dance lesson, live-band swing dance.
Ideal for beginners/those who want to brush up their dance skills. Also ideal for those who already dance to learn the opposite role -- lead or follow.
All ages over 18 + dance levels welcome!
1. Meet & greet at local bar at 6.30 pm.
2. Beginner dance lesson after 8 pm - 9 pm (1 lesson, Lindy Hop). We join in.
3. Live local band dance party begins after 9 pm. The official hosted experience ends 10.30 pm but you can party on 'til late.

It don't mean a thing if it ain't got that swing! A local swing dancer and dance enthusiast, I'm delighted to introduce you to Lindy Hop, Toronto style. The jazz music of the big-band era and beyond is superb and it's wonderful to dance to. I'm part of an all-Canadian dance troupe. I dance a variety of dance styles, including Lindy Hop, Charleston, Balboa, Solo Jazz, Collegiate Shag, Blues, Jive and Boogie Woogie. Swept up in the swing dance revival of the 1980s and I've learned to dance in Melbourne, Montreal, London, Athens, San Francisco and Toronto. If these dates don't suit, message me.
