Cosa farete

Run unique and curated routes starting in Brooklyn (exploring New York City, choose your adventure) with me, an experienced local runner. Routes are curated to your running interests (trails/ roads/ both), fitness level, and schedule. The best way to see and learn new routes and new neighborhoods. If you are visiting from out of town running with a guide when you first get here is the best way to get a feel for area. Again, any pace but we will cap the time at 90 mins so total distance will be pace dependent. **Finally the best part is that all proceeds will go to a local charity of your choosing.** e.g. Minds Matter NYC, Girls on the Run NYC. So as you enjoy what the city has to offer you will also be giving back. Logistically speaking, I will give you info on local organizations, you will decide who you want to donate to and when I get the payment from airbnb I will make the donation in your name and send you the confirmation details.

I've been distance running my entire life, both competitively and recreationally, and for many years in NYC. I also love to explore; I've lived in several countries and traveled to many more. After running 5 days a week for a few decades and always on the hunt for new and exciting routes I have curated a solid book of routes including several trail runs throughout NYC. I'm also an active member of the New York Road Runners and Prospect Park Track Club and currently training for the 2019 Boston Marathon (target time of 2:55).

Running routes are all in the BK/ NYC area and curated to your running interests: terrain (e.g. trails/ roads/ both), fitness level, location and schedule. Favorite routes include hidden paths in Prospect Park, historic neighborhoods in Brooklyn, Brooklyn waterfront, and running the bridges.

This will be a guided run. So come with your running gear on and ready to run. It is always helpful to bring your essentials (phone, ID, a small amount of cash, etc) but only items you can run with.
