Cosa farete

In our small group bike tour (max 6 people) with urban bikes with gears and suspension we'll visit:

- Plaza de Mayo: the most important site for our history, the place of the foundation of BA

- Puerto Madero: the newest area in Buenos Aires

- Costanera Sur: old river side

- La Boca: Traditional area in Buenos Aires

- La Bombonera: Boca Juniors Soccer Stadium

- Caminito: Open door museum

- Parque Lezama: Place of the first foundation of the city

- Mate tasting stop: enjoy the most traditional drink in Argentina as locals do

- San Telmo: One of the oldest areas in Buenos Aires, bohemian neighboorhood

- Plaza Dorrego: Famous square for its bars & street market

The bike tour will finish at the same place than the meeting point.

We'll stop at all the places we've already mention, to talk about our history and culture and what's interesting about the place we're visiting.

Then we'll do our mate stop, and we'll spend around 30 minutes talking about the drinking mate tradition. It will be a typical Argentinean mate session: we could talk about different topics, and of course, feel free to ask whatever you want, we'll be glad to share with you our local point of view.

Carlos did a great job as our bike leader and host through Buenos Aires. We had spent the previous days walking through various neighborhoods in BA and it was great to tour by bike to get a broader perspective of BA and to get Carlos’s insights on the various neighborhoods that we toured. Carlos is a native of BA and it was great to get his historical perspective on how Argentina and BA in particular have changed over the last several decades. One of the highlights of our trip to South America.

Really enjoyed this experience, being able to cycle to key locations in the city, and having some of the history or importance explained at each spot. Our guide was super friendly and accommodating. The bikes are very comfortable and easy to ride around on. I also really enjoyed having the mate experience in the park. A wonderful afternoon.

Carlos was an excellent tour guide. He rode at a great pace and was super knowledgeable. When I wanted to stop and take pictures, he was very accommodating. We especially enjoyed the La Boca stop where we go to experience the market.

My friend and I ended up touring with Julian's business partner, Carlos, would was very friendly and informative. We had an incredible time on the bike tour and got to see a lot of the various neighborhoods in Buenos Aires that we had not yet visited. We also very much enjoyed the mate session in one of the parks and properly learning about how to prepare and drink mate! Would highly recommend this tour if you are looking for a fun half-day activity in Buenos Aires!

Carlos was a wonderful bike tour guide! It was easy to meet up with him, the bikes were great (thick tires and shocks for the cobble stones), and he knew the roads and bike paths especially well. I learned a lot more about the city and Argentinian culture than I expected.
