Cosa farete

Your tour begins at the famous Boston Harbor - starting with a walk through a scenic waterfront park, with views of the harbor, East Boston, and nearby historic wharfs as we make our way to the heart of the North End.

We'll visit a hidden Italian bakery serving up fresh bread daily. Break bread with your fellow travelers and let the carbs give you the energy to continue your adventure! A proper Italian salumeria is next, and you have a chance to enjoy Italian meats and cheeses at their finest and freshest.

Then, we'll head to the North End’s busiest corridor, Hanover Street. It’s time for a mid-tour break at a traditional Italian café. Here, you have a chance to purchase your choice of a classic cappuccino, espresso, or tea, or just rest your feet.

Let the caffeine kick in as we go back in time into North End history. Hear stories about some of the most influential events that have happened in Boston. We will make our way to the Old North Church and step inside the hallowed walls. To this day, North Enders still attend this church, which is famous for its role in the Revolution.

After church, we dive deeper into the local side of the North End. A taste of pizza awaits at a neighborhood favorite and the stories are endless. We cap off your North End food experience with samples of the best of the best Italian pastries along the backstreets of this delicious neighborhood!

I have a deep love and appreciation for the history, diversity, and unique culture of Boston. Sharing this love for the one-and-only Beantown with visitors (first-timers and frequent visitors alike) is a passion of mine. Boston's big draw is obviously American history, but there's so much more in this city to explore! I've spent time getting to know restauranteurs, artisans, and other foodies, so that I can show you the coolest spots to get a bite in the North End neighborhood. Of course there's the postcard historical sights, but there's also some awesome snacks, only-in-Boston dishes, and amazing hand-crafted treats - the type of places that locals (like me) love. One things for sure, on my tours, you'll receive personal attention from a real, Boston local and a unique experience that you'll never forget! Join me!

A very fun tour for out of towners and Bostonians! Our guide Tim had a lot of great recommendations for extra places to check out when we had more time.

Bob was a delightful storyteller and definitely knows the area. The different stops with snacks were delicious and filling. My favorite was the cannoli and then Bob took us to a great neighborhood Italian grocery Salumeria where we had a few minutes to get Italian chestnut honey, truffle salt and balsamic vinegar!! Such fun out of the way places that we wouldn’t have found on our own. Definitely recommend Bob and this tour!

The pizza and bread on the tour was extremely generic and the same as any other bakery or pizzeria in America. The “included” historic building admission does not exist. We also had to stand outside the restaurant in the rain and eat the one slice of cold pizza with no dignity whatsoever. The tour also went significantly overtime and lasted three hours. I would highly recommend against going on this tour. If you were expecting to sit down at a restaurant or eat hot food, this tour is not for you.

As a long time Boston resident I didn’t have high expectations. I was so wrong! I learned so much new stuff about the history of the area and some hidden gem stops beyond what the tourists usually go to. Bob was funny, attentive, and kept the tour well paced.

Our tour guide was fantastic. We visited many unique locations you won't normally find. We heard many tidbits about stops on the Freedom Trail. The food was delicious and a great mix!

Unfortunaltely, our group was not very impressed with the tour. After seeing the near perfect reviews we had high hopes that were not met. It was a fine tour, but compared to other tours of similar cost that we have also done on Airbnb on different occasions and locations it did not seem to measure up sadly. TL;DR -Good history tour, but the "food tour" part was the disappointing part. If you want a history walking tour with good local snacks this is a perfect option for you. In depth review: 1. The portions were really quite small for the money we had paid. My father called it a "tour with snacks" esp after reading in reviews to come hungry. I would not say that anyone in our group has a huge appetite, but we were left unsatisfied. 2.This didn't feel like a food tour but more of a history tour. Dillon was very kind and engaging on that aspect but he seemed to have some limited knowledge about the food. He didnt know about some local places, and seemed quite uninterested in talking about actual food when we tried to engage on the topic. We thought that was a bit strange because this was a food tour. He did give alot of good history which we appreciated and we hit some good spots. We have had food tours hosted by chefs, and more foodie type people at this similar price point that we have been spoiled by it seems. 3. It was a 2 hour tour but we honestly felt so rushed at many of the locations. I scalded my tongue in the cappuccino which was delicious btw but I wanted to finish it because it was good. Cannoli was also delicious. The coffee break was the best part of the tour for me.
